I finally got round to watching the America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 final last week so I thought what a great choice for my first blog post! I must say I have been a major fan of the show since I was a little girl, and have watched all 20 series' religiously. The latest cycle was slightly different to previous as there was a mixture of girls and guys (well I wouldn't say no to some topless male models) when usually it was concentrated on girls modelling.
The final three consisted of Marvin, Jourdan and Cory (from left to right).
The above photos were their first challenge - a photoshoot for Guess. Personally, I like the simplicity and practicality of the clothing - Guess the brand relates to normal people, and shows that anyone can look like a Guess guy or girl. Guess is very much about denim and shows from denim jackets, jeans, to hot pants you can look effortlessly cool.
The final runway show is always a great spectacle, the finalists looked amazing!
They wore creations by Tex Saverio an Indonesian designer who has made many outfits for Lady Gaga. Jourdan's dress was beautiful with lots of intricate detail and fitted her body perfectly, while the boys looked smart and sophisticated wearing Indonesian inspired suits. All outfits are in line with the current Power Dressing trend - the three models stomped down that runway!!
Let's not forget the reason we love ANTM - the wonderful Tyra Banks. She was on trend with this long, black, lace dress.
After much deliberation the winner was chosen....JOURDAN - the blonde bombshell, that won best photo five times! So after all that a guy didn't even win, I was slightly disappointed.
